Frequently Asked Questions about Big Roast catering

The questions listed below are common questions we are asked by customers looking to book us for a  function or event.

• If I book a hog or lamb roast, what about can you offer for vegetarians
  • We can cater for vegetarians and vegans at most of our events. We need exact numbers and commonly prepare two or three options on top of the wide selection of salads people purchase.
• How many people can I feed with a hog
  • With one normal sized hog we can usually cater for anywhere between 100 to 120 people. If you have more people at your function we would simply bring along another machine.
• Will you be able to get a hog roasting machine into the venue and to where my guests will be
  • We operate specially built spit roasting machines which are 700mm wide and have removals legs allowing us to get the machine into 99.99% of venues.
• How many people can you cater for per hour
  • One machine will normally cater for at maximum for 100 to 120  people served over an hour. If you need more people fed in a certain timescale then we would simply recommend extra machines.
