ASIAN-STYLE SALAD PACKAGE:
Our Asian salads are priced at £1.75 per portion, or you can choose 3 different salads for £5.00 per head.
Fresh, zingy, and sometimes hot, our Asian salads go especially well with pork. And to make sure that you get exactly what you want from your Big Roast event, tell us if you want us to turn the heat up on these salads and we’ll add a bit more chilli heat. But if you want to tone things down, we can just as easily reduce the chilli – just let us know.

Thai Noodle Salad: (V) (N)
- A classic Asian-style salad. Fine rice noodles are mixed with sugarsnap peas, cashew nuts, carrots, spring onions, beansprouts and fresh coriander and tossed in a sesame oil, lime and sweet chilli dressing which is a perfect balance of sweet, sour, heat and salt.
Thai Bean Salad with Pink Grapefruit and Grapes: (V)
- A Big Roast favourite – this salad combines cannellini beans, pink grapefruit, red grapes, beansprouts with fresh mint, coriander and rocket leaves, all brought together in a fresh, citrusy dressing made with chilli, lime and herbs.
Oriental Coleslaw: (V)
- This coleslaw wins first prize for looks, and also for being incredibly healthy. Red cabbage, carrots, spring onions and coriander are tossed in a delicious sweet sour dressing made with sesame oil, soy sauce, lime juice and honey.
Crunchy Hot & Sour Salad: (V) (N)
- A beautiful looking fresh, crunchy salad. Cashew nuts, mangetout, beansprouts, and water chestnuts are mixed with lime, fresh coriander and black mustard seeds and then tossed in a light sweet, sour and hot dressing.
Hot & Sour Green Mango Salad: (V) (N)
- You could call this our Asian ugly duckling – it’s not the best looking salad – but it tastes sublimes, particularly with pork. Green (or unripe) mango is cut into fine matchsticks and mixed with an unusual dressing made with ground peanuts, chillis, tomatoes, shallots, lime juice and fish sauce. Try it – you’ll be amazed!
Thai Herb and Fresh Mango Salad: (V)
- A lively, fresh, zesty salad. Coriander, mint and basil leaves are combined with sugar snap peas, beansprouts, and lemon grass and red chillies in a sweet and sour dressing.
Mango Rice Salad: (V) (N)
- A delicious combination of fragrant Jasmine rice, toasted coconut, fresh mango, mint, coriander and chilli with roasted peanuts and crispy fried shallots with a tiny hint of green chilli, brought together in a fresh, zingy lemon dressing.
