All our packages include all you need for a successful event – pork or lamb, rolls, sauces, a beautiful selection of salads freshly prepared by our Leith’s trained chef and of course one of our fantastic chefs to carve and serve your roast.

For smaller parties of under 50-80 people we can provide people with hog roasts, but this often means that there is a lot of meat left over. A great and very popular alternative is a whole lamb, roasted on a spit roast, rotisserie style.

All of our Bronze Packages include delicious coleslaw and potato salad, freshly prepared by our Leith’s trained chef, as well as all the plates, cutlery, rolls and sauces that you will need for your event.

A lamb roast is also a quicker affair than a hog roast – and customers should allow around 4-5 hours from our arrival until everyone has been served. A normal lamb roast event takes the following structure -

  1. We arrive about 4 hours before serving.
  2. After our initial set up, the lamb takes about 2- 2.5 hours to be cooked on the spit roast with rosemary. Garlic can be added toward the end of the cooking time.
  3. Our experienced chef takes 30 min to cut the meat from the bone.
  4. We recommend serving the lamb straight from the machine to keep it nice and warm, and serving takes around 30 minutes for up to fifty people.
  5. We serve our lamb with mint sauce and customers can choose to serve themselves salad and rolls. If customers wish us to marinate the lamb prior to serving this is also possible.
  6. We clean and clear away, leaving you to enjoy your event.

The pork loin is certainly the most common form of spit roast cooked in the UK – offering all the flavour of a hog roast but in a much shorter time frame.

Although the major benefit of the spit roast is it’s ability to be adaptable a normal pork loin event would take the following structure –

  1. We arrive about 3 hours before serving.
  2. After our initial set up, the loin takes about 2 hours to be cooked on the spit roast.
  3. Our experienced chef takes 20 to 30 minutes to carve the meat.
  4. We recommend serving the pork straight from the machine to keep it nice and warm, and serving takes around 45 minutes to an hour for up to 100 people.
  5. We serve our pork with an apple sauce and customers can choose to serve themselves salad and rolls. If customers wish us to marinate the pork prior to serving this is possible.
  6. We clean and clear away, leaving you to enjoy your event
