To make sure that everyone is happy and full at the end of the evening, we can provide a range of vegetarian options to accompany your hog roast and would be happy to discuss your particular requirements.

Vegetarian main course options are offered at £5 per head. All of the following are served cold, apart from the kebabs. The vegetarian options are offered in units of six servings. Discounts are available for large orders.

STUFFED VEGETABLES

  • Stuffed red peppers with a choice of fillings
    • Couscous, raisins, fried onions, toasted pine nuts drizzled with a yogurt, coriander and mint sauce
    • Cherry tomatoes, anchovies, garlic, basil and parmesan
    • Tuna, hard-boiled egg, capers, chives and mayonnaise
  • Turkish Stuffed TomatoesLarge ripe tomatoes stuffed with risotto rice flavoured with cinnamon, pine nuts and currants

TARTS, QUICHES AND PASTRY

  • Shortcrust pastry filled with an egg and cream custard with a choice of fillings.
    • Cheese and caramelised onion quiche
    • Asparagus Tart
    • Leek and Soured Cream Tart
    • Tomato and basil Tart
    • Spinach, Smoked Salmon and Crème Fraiche tart
    • Beetroot, goat’s cheese and hazelnut tartlets.  Individual puff pastry squares filled with caramelized red onion, rosemary, beetroot, goat’s cheese and toasted hazelnuts.
  • Spanokopita Spinach and feta filo pie
  • Vegetarian Sausage Rolls Flaky pastry rolls with a cheese and herb filling
  • Savoury Feta Cheesecake Feta, curd cheese and fromage frais on a cheesecake base of breadcrumbs and Pecorino cheese

VEGETARIAN KEBABS

  • Halloumi Cheese and Vegetable Kebabs Halloumi, red pepper, red onion and mushroom kebabs marinated in fresh herbs and garlic with a tomato, chilli, lime and coriander salsa
  • Spicy Vegetable Kebabs with Yogurt Sauce Baby onions, potatoes, mushrooms and smoked tofu marinated in a coriander, cumin and turmeric spice paste with a yogurt and coriander sauce

FRITTATAS AND TORTILLAS

  • Tortilla (Spanish Omelette) Classic Spanish tortilla of eggs, potato, onion and olive oil
  • Butternut Squash and wilted Spinach Frittata Roast butternut squash and spinach flavoured with nutmeg
  • Roasted courgette & red pepper frittata with parmesan Classic Italian vegetables, roasted to bring out their sweetness then baked with herbs, eggs & cream

ROULADES

  • Mushroom Roulade Field mushroom roulade with a creamy spring onion and herb filling
  • Spinach Roulade Spinach roulade with a creamy mushroom and herb filling

PATTIES AND NUT ROASTS

  • Chickpea patties with Beetroot tzatsiki Crispy chickpea patties spiced with cumin, coriander, and paprika, served with a beetroot, yogurt, garlic and mint tzatsiki
  • Nut Roast with Yogurt Sauce Macadamia and pistachio nuts, green peppers, coriander and cumin nut roast served with a Greek yogurt sauce spiced with coriander, cumin, cardamom and cinnamon
