Delectable Vegetarian Options

Big Roast specialises in high quality hog roasts but of course these aren’t likely to appeal to your vegetarian friends!

Here at Big Roast we are all confirmed carnivores, which is just as well as we specialize in high quality hog and lamb roasts.  Although we have anecdotal evidence of long-time vegetarians succumbing to the temptations of our succulent meat, it doesn’t happen every time.  So to keep your vegetarian friends happy (and you should expect 10-15% of your guests to be non-meat eaters) we’ve put together a range of delicious vegetarian options..

All our vegetarian main course options are freshly made by our talented chefs and cost around £5.60 per head, but this year we’ve introduced a new pricing structure to give a little more flexibility.  All our vegetarian dishes are served cold and are offered in units of six servings.

CHEESE & ONION QUICHE


Sometimes the simplest flavours are the best! Meltingly sweet slow cooked onions are paired with tangy cheddar cheese.
TOMATO & BASIL TART


Summer in a puff pastry case! Ripe tomatoes and basil are slowly cooked on a delicious puff pastry base.

GOATS CHEESE & RED ONION TART


Rich and tangy tarts – crisp pastry shells filled with a combo of sweet red onion marmalade and tangy goats cheese, garnished with thyme.
FETA, ROSEMARY & BLACK OLIVE TART


Flavour-packed tarts filled with feta cheese and plump black olives, garnished with rosemary.
