Big Roast Ltd and Paul Strank Roofing Ltd in association with AFC Wimbledon were holding their annual charity fun day in aid of Children in Need on Saturday 3rd July 2010. The event was held at South Park Gardens in Wimbledon. This year’s event was even bigger and more fun filled than the 2009 event. There was a host of attractions for children and adults to enjoy. There was plenty of food and drink available, so people could come for the whole day (11 am – 4 pm). Admission was for free and the day’s attractions were :
- A bouncy castle
- Children’s rides
- Beer tent (for the grown ups)
- Celebrity guests
- The mechanical bull
- Games and activities
- Hog roast from Big roast
The event was opened by the Mayor of Merton and Radio Jackie was broadcasting live from the event. The report and gallery for the 2010 event illustrates what a fantastic time everyone had this year. Around 3000 happy people managed to come and helped out with raising funds for children in need. Big roast Ltd donated all profits towards this charity.
